Jointing Procedure for Screw Fittings (Com-fit, Brass-fit & Eco-fit)

  • Cut off Jindal MLC Pipe vertically with the Pipe Cutter.
  • Round and bevel the end holes and make inclines ofat-least 2 mm.
  • Choose the right size of fitting; put the nut over the pipe and slide the compression ring over the pipe. Make sure that the mouth of the nut and the pipe faces the same direction.
  • Push the inserts into the pipe up to the shoulder. Take care not to damage the O-Ring.
  • Use a spanner to tighten it up completely

To properly install Jindal MLC Pipes using the right tools and method is a must. So to make things easy, we provide you with all the right tools and accessories(Sold Separately) that are needed to properly install the pipe and fittings. When properly installed, there is no risk of leakages or any other problems. You can just sit back and relax without ever having to worry.

Bending spring

The pipe is bended using internal bending spring. The Aluminum makes the pipe form-stable (i.e. non spring-back after bending) & impermeable to oxygen diffusion. Once bent, the pipe maintains its shape.

Cutting the Pipe

Cut the pipe from a perpendicular angle using the Pipe Cutter,for a neat finish.

Reaming the Pipe

Use the Reamer for rounding and bevelling the end holes,before inserting the fitting.

Bending the Pipe

Use the Internal and External Bending Springs for Bending the pipe in order to avoid any kind of dents.

Installing the Fitting

Disassemble the Fitting.

Put the nut and split ring over the pipe.

Tighten the Nut.

Disassemble the Fitting.
